Words Rearranged

Readers who have followed Words Arranged may find a slightly new look in this post. Here’s why:

The “theme” I had chosen for Words Arranged turns out not to be “responsive,” meaning it does not change its size and shape to match that of iPads and iPhones, etc on your end of this stream.

As you might guess, I’m not a fan of portable electronic devices. Just search for “cell phone” in these blog posts to see why.

Nevertheless, I do want you and as many others as possible to read these words I conscientiously arrange here for you. And that means I have to arrange them in a way compatible with your favorite electronic device.

If you’re reading this on an old fashioned desktop or laptop computer, you shouldn’t notice much difference other than the disappearance of the picture at the top of the page. If you’re on a portable electronic device, you should see this purple prose sliding gracefully down the page, intact, in order and as I wrote it.

*SIGH* It feels somehow unprincipled to sacrifice style and grace to ultimate numbers. Such are the games we play in this global society.

Let me know in the comments if this effort is worthwhile for you.
